Kwanzaa is a time of learning, family, and celebration. During the seven-day festival of Kwanzaa, families come together to celebrate Pan-African culture, and honor the ancestry and community that unites them. Each day reflects a principle, and our program is celebrating each one with the support of our local community

Our program will be celebrating each principle of the 7 days of Kwanzaa as follows:

• Umoja (Unity): Free coffee and food bar

• Kujichagulia (Self-Determination: Poetry Jam by Jamai Fisher

• Ujima (Collective Work): Performance by Ujima Dance Troupe

• Ujamaa (Economics): Black Owned Business booth

• Nia (Purpose): Taquita Love (host)

• Kumba (Creativity): Kids Kraft Korner

• Imani (Faith): Dedication Tree
